About the Team & OfficeWe’re looking for a confident, creative Announcer to host Triple M Workday across Albany and the Great Southern. You’ll craft compelling local content, keep the music rolling, and connect with our audience on air, online, and in the community. You will be based out of our Bunbury offices. This is a parental leave contract role until 11 September 2026. A day in the life?Your day starts by hosting the Triple M Workday show for Albany, bringing authentic local stories and personality to the airwaves. You’ll prepare music logs, craft talk breaks and deliver live reads that keep listeners engaged. Beyond the mic, you’ll take ownership of operational tasks that keep the station running smoothly, managing playlists, ensuring compliance with broadcast standards, and coordinating with traffic and scheduling teams. Throughout the day, you’ll generate fresh ideas, develop story angles, and line up guests, while also contributing to promos and station imaging. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with producers, news, and promotions to ensure everything runs seamlessly. Outside the studio, you’ll connect with audiences on LiSTNR, social media, and digital platforms, and represent Triple M at community and client events, living the brand in real life. What You’ll Need On-air experience in radio with strong format and timing skills. A natural storyteller with excellent delivery and prep discipline. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic audio editing and studio workflow proficiency. Operational know-how—comfortable managing music logs, traffic workflows, and ensuring compliance with broadcast standards.
