Boilermaker – Site Based (Gold Coast, WWTP Project)

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our client's team on a long-term wastewater treatment plant project based on the Gold Coast. This is a site-based role offering stability and the opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Welding and fabrication of structural and process components
• GTAW (TIG) welding to high standards
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

Day-to-Day Duties

• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks on site
• Assemble and install piping, tanks, and structural steel
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on completed welds
• Collaborate with supervisors and trades to meet project milestones
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Boilermaker in heavy industry or infrastructure projects
• Strong background in GTAW/TIG welding and fabrication
• Previous site-based project experience (water treatment or similar preferred)
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Qualifications & Requirements

• Trade Certificate in Boilermaking
• Weld Australia Certification (AS1796 Ticket 5 & 7)
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Current Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport
• Unlimited working rights in Australia
• Hepatitis A & B vaccinations
