Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our Urban Development team on the Sunshine Coast. This role offers the chance to work on diverse, high-impact projects and contribute your expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality civil design solutions across a range of projects.
• Contribute to the development of budgets and preparation of fee proposals.
• Undertake detailed civil design, including earthworks, drainage, car parks, roads, pavements, and utilities.
• Act as superintendent during construction
• Attend site inspections, hold site meetings
• Collaborate closely with designers, drafters, contractors, and other engineers at project meetings.
• Support project management activities, including scheduling and reporting.
• Promote continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) with NER/RPEQ accreditation.
• 2+ years’ experience in civil engineering for land development, or greenfield projects.
• Solid technical expertise in civil design with knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.
• Experience in QA processes and superintending.
