THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent with a strong mining background to join our team on an exciting project. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the electrical team and helping drive the project’s success. You’ll bring a strong commitment to safety, a passion for leadership, and the skills to keep the project on track, meeting client expectations around time, quality, and budget.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team of supervisors and set the standard for safety and performance on site
  • Assist the Project Manager with daily operations and project delivery
  • Monitor project progress and report on cost, scope, and schedule
  • Review plans and drawings to support estimating and pricing strategies
  • Maintain detailed records of work-in-progress and project communications
  • Complete daily and weekly project reports
  • Participate in project planning, reviews, and audits

ABOUT YOU:

  • Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership in site safety and team management
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Supervisory role (mining experience preferred)
  • Previous underground mining experience highly regarded
  • Mining Supervisor certification (S123) desirable but not essential
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams)
  • Experience interpreting project schedules (MS Project or Primavera)
  • Quality assurance and budget management experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
  • SA Electrical License
  • Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
  • Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
  • White / Blue Construction Card

Desirable but not essential:

  • High-risk work License (with WP class)
  • Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months)
