Farm Hand

The Role:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Hand to assist with the day-to-day operations of our Clermont location. The Farm Hand plays a key role in supporting the agricultural team, focusing on crop management and machinery operation. This position involves participation in planting, spraying, and general maintenance of farm equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help with all crop tasks like planting, watering, and fertilising
• Safely operate and look after farm machinery
• Carry out basic repairs and upkeep of equipment and farm structures
• Keep clear records of spraying, machinery use, and maintenance
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working on the farm

Ideal Candidates:

• Previous experience in a farming setting
• Knowledge of farming processing and management practices
• Works well with others and communicates effectively.
• Takes pride in doing a job well and being a team player.
• Strong attention to detail when completing tasks.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics.
• Able to travel to our other properties, as required.
