Labourers Townsville

Are you fit, reliable, and ready to jump into hands-on work? Our client is seeking Venue Setup Labourers to assist with event and furniture setup at their Townsville location. This role suits those who enjoy physical work, fast-paced environments, and flexible shifts.

Working as part of an onsite team, you will support the full setup of upcoming events. Duties include:

• Unloading furniture and equipment from trucks

• Assisting with general venue and event setup

• Using basic hand tools where required

• Providing general labouring support as directed

• Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe

Pay Rate: $33.70 per hour (Ordinary hours Mon–Sat)

PPE to Bring:

• Enclosed work shoes (steel caps preferred)

PPE Supplied:

• Steel caps available onsite

• Basic tools if needed

Tools:

• Bring your own basic tools if available

Qualifications:

• Not essential

Experience:

• No experience required, but general labouring or event setup experience is highly regarded

Skills:

• Ability to follow instructions

• Physically fit for manual handling

• Strong reliability and teamwork

Ideal candidates are:

• Fit and capable of repetitive manual handling

• Able to work in a fast-paced setup environment

• Reliable and available for ad-hoc event shifts

• Comfortable working under direction

• Enclosed shoes must be worn at all times

• Follow all WHS directions from the onsite supervisor

• Report hazards or incidents immediately
