Your Next Challenge

Lead the day-to-day operations of Newhaul’s Transport division. Working in close partnership with key stakeholders across the roads Division and beyond, this role plays a pivotal part in delivering operational excellence, achieving service and tonnage targets, and maintaining Newhaul’s strong commitment to safety and compliance.

• Recruit, lead, and develop Superintendents and Supervisors across multiple sites
• Set KPIs, conduct reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and improvement
• Ensure safety, compliance, and cost-effective movement from pit to port
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across labour, fuel, fleet, and loaders, while supporting digitisation and automation aligned with business goals.

About You

• An inspiring hands-on leader with a deep knowledge of road trains and be a seasoned transport and logistics professional understanding long-haul road transportation in bulk commodities
• Communicates with clarity and confidence and likes to “get in and amongst it”, who lives and breathes “all things transport”
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management
• Commercially savvy, results-driven, and passionate about innovation, digitisation, and automation
