Overhead Crane Operator

Synergie is currently seeking experienced Overhead Crane Operators to join a leading reinforcing steel manufacturer based in Cavan. This role is ideally suited to candidates with previous experience loading trucks with cages, mesh, and reinforcing steel for deliveries to construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate overhead cranes to move and load reinforcing products
• Load trucks with steel cages, mesh, and materials for site deliveries
• Work closely with the dispatch team to ensure accurate and efficient load-outs
• Follow all site safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment
• Assist with general yard and material handling duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating overhead cranes in a steel or manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to load trucks with steel products (cages, mesh, etc.)
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced team environment

Benefits:

• Casual Pay Rate: Day shift $38.90 Afternoon shift $44.74 per hour.
• Day Shift: 5:50am - 2:00pm, Monday to Thursday. Friday 5:50am - 12:00pm
• Afternoon Shift: 1:50 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday to Thursday. Friday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
• (Must be available for training period on Day Shift)
• Ongoing work with the potential to go permanent

• Onsite parking
