Section Plate Roller Operator - Northern Suburbs

Fantastic Opportunity - Great Company!  Our client is a steel processing & supply company that provides services including laser, plasma & oxy cutting, folding, rolling, and fabrication and they are seeking to appoint a Section Plate Rolling Operator for their facility in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read & interpret Engineering drawings
• Set, operate, and program section rolling machinery for maximum efficiency
• Assist with warehousing and distribution of steel products
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials (where licensed)
• Follow detailed work instructions to ensure quality output
• Contribute to a safe and productive team environment

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Cert III Engineering Fabrication Trade
• 10yrs experience operating 9 – 12 tonne press, 60 – 80Mil plate
• Background in the steel or engineering industry
• Overhead crane experience (preferred)
• Current forklift licence (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, hands-on attitude with a strong work ethic
