We are currently seeking a Security Technician to join our Honeywell team in Launceston. This customer-facing role requires a strong focus on understanding and addressing customer needs within the electronic security industry.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to assess their security requirements and identify suitable solutions
- Generate tailored solutions with a specific emphasis on Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS), CCTV, and alarm systems
- Collaborate with the Field Service Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery success
- Be apart of afterhours On-Call Roster
- Provide expert knowledge of our products and services to help guide customers' purchasing decisions
- Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (training provided)
- Configuration of security systems hardware and software
- Diagnose faults and repairs on security systems
Qualifications
- Experience as Security Technician or Electrician
- Ability to understand and explain electronic security systems to clients. (training provided)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
- Security Systems Workers License
- Ability to obtain NV1
- Ability to be on call, work a rotating roster
