The Role

As a Senior QA/QC Associate, you will be a cornerstone of the quality team, supporting the production of cannabis, MDMA, and psilocybin products. Reporting directly to the Head of Quality, you will be instrumental in maintaining GMP compliance and driving product excellence.

This position is central to Breathe Life Sciences growth strategy, offering opportunities to develop leadership skills, contribute to expanding operations, and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality products to market.

What You'll Do

• Implement and manage QA/QC systems to support advanced manufacturing processes.
• Conduct batch record reviews, risk assessments, and deviation investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and regulatory affairs, to support scale-up and commercialization.
• Lead internal and external audits and ensure compliance with TGA regulations and GMP standards.
• Mentor junior QA/QC team members and foster a collaborative, high-performing quality culture.
• Oversee quality inspections, testing of raw materials, and final product evaluations.

What Youll Bring

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical QA/QC, with cannabis sector experience highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance, including TGA standards.
• Excellent technical document writing, problem-solving, and leadership potential.
• A proactive mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, growing organization.
