Job Description

Machine Operator Trainee l  Welshpool  l  $30.36 per hour

About the Role:

• Assisting qualified tradespeople and experienced machine operators
• Basic packing, stacking, sorting, and handling of materials
• Feeding raw materials into machines under supervision
• Performing simple assembly and production tasks
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace, including sweeping and general housekeeping
• Moving materials around the workshop using safe manual-handling practices

🎓 Experience:

• Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in machinery
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• Manual-handling and physical fitness
• Familiarity with safety procedures (PPE, workshop safety)
• Teamwork and reliability

💰 Benefits: Casual with Full Time Hours $30.36 per hour

🕘 38 hours/week Monday to Thursday 5am – 1.30pm Fridays 5am - 11am

📜 Extras:

• Training available on site, once completed pay rate will increase. This is a casual placement with the opportunity to go Full Time.
