Through our Early Careers Program, you’ll earn while you learn, combining full-time work with part-time study. Program Overview

Jump straight from the classroom into a real career with STP!

Choose from one of the following career pathways:

• Junior Draftsperson – Full-time work + part-time study in an Associate Degree of Engineering or TAFE drafting/design course

• Cadet Engineer – Full-time work + part-time study in a Bachelor of Engineering

What You’ll Do

• Apply your learning directly to real engineering and drafting projects that make a difference

• Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals

• Participate in company initiatives, culture programs, and engagement activities

• Balance hands-on work with structured study time

Program Structure:

• Duration: 3–4 years (drafting/design), up to 8 years (engineering)

• Work schedule: 5 days a week (4 practical, 1 study)

• Study: Enrolled or eligible to enrol in a recognised tertiary course (enrolment not required prior to application)

• Semester breaks: Continue full-time in the office to stay connected
