About the Role:

The Aftersales Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of parts warehousing, inventory management, and transportation logistics for GWM ANZ. This role ensures the seamless and cost-effective distribution of parts to meet dealer, and customer demands while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Duties/responsibilities include:

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including capacity management, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce errors, and optimise storage capacity.
  • Manage relationships with transport service providers and local vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective delivery of parts.
  • Oversee freight logistics, including budgeting, efficiency, and contractual arrangements.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Analyse parts sales, inventory turnover, and other metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues to maintain a reliable and high-quality supply chain.
  • Oversee warehouse IT infrastructure and ensure the effective use of inventory management software and systems.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the Warehouse Manager and other direct reports to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Parts, Warranty, Customer Contact Centre, and State Managers, to align operational goals with business objectives.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in automotive OEM parts management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Proven track record of managing warehouse operations and transportation logistics.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software, logistics systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop data-driven strategies.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
