- We are currently recruiting for multiple Chef’s and Manager’s across various locations, however you will need to get yourself to Toowoomba as it is Drive in Drive out from Toowoomba!
Being a Camp Manager / Chef or Attendant at VNG means you will be:
- Maintaining and driving a safe working culture with all staff
- Assist in delivering food and cleaning services which are industry leading
- The preparation of tasty, fresh and wholesome food
- Assist the team in a variety of alternative duties to ensure the smooth running of camp
- Be part of a small team that works effectively together every day
- Take ownership of the wellbeing of your peers, customers and others in the camp
- Clean rooms, changing linen and undertaking laundry duties
- Assist in delivering food and cleaning services which are industry leading.
To be a Camp Manager / Chef you MUST have:
- Trade qualifications with minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- PMASUP236 Valid Operate Vehicles in Field (4WD) certification (minimum 6 months validity)
- Workplace Health and Safety Standards relevant to food, mining, oil and gas
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Current Food Safety Standards
- A National Police Clearance (valid within 3 months)
- Valid full drivers licence (manual)
- All applicants will need to complete a Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
