Civil/Structural Engineer – Berri

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to assist our growing South Australian Berri team. This role provides an opportunity to work on a range civil infrastructure project and contribute to the growth of the Berri team within Tonkin.

• A passionate and proactive team player with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• A technical problem-solver with demonstrated experience in a range of Australian civil infrastructure projects.
• Enthusiastic about working in multi-disciplinary teams in a national team format.

Where You Are:

The role is located in Berri however you will have the opportunity to work on projects throughout Australia, predominately South Australia and Victoria.

What You Bring:

• Relevant qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering discipline
• Demonstrated technical background in Civil/Structural Engineering related disciplines, including experience with Australian Standards and Industry Design Guides.
• Efficient multi-tasker with a fundamental understanding of project delivery processes and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do:

• Apply your technical expertise to the design of a range of civil/structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
• Provide inputs to other engineers and drafters in producing high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other disciplines to ensure project coordination.
• Deliver well-documented designs, including drawings, specifications, and reports, meeting Tonkin’s and client standards.
• Visit sites to evaluate engineering challenges and collect data for design analysis.
