The Bronze project situated on Chevron Island, represents our exciting expansion to the Gold Coast region, where we’re now starting to bring on a exceptional site team to uphold our tradition of quality craftsmanship. We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our team for this inaugural project valued at $120m, which is a 20-storey development with above ground, 4 level carpark. This position commences in March 2026.

The role

As a Contract Administrator, you will be a important team member. You will ensure smooth execution and successful delivery while maintaining GVG’s standards of excellence. Working closely with the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers, you will be instrumental in maintaining project documentation, processing variations, and ensuring contractual obligations are met.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee contract administration, cost control, procurement, and compliance. Your role ensures all financial and contractual processes align with project milestones and company standards, driving value and mitigating risk.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage subcontractor and supplier communications to meet project timelines
  • Control order entries, invoice approvals, and payment certificates
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial health of the project
  • Negotiate and vet contract variations and claims
  • Facilitate quality assurance processes including inspections, RFIs, and documentation
  • Support safety compliance and WPHS regulations
  • Prepare and distribute project reports and documentation
  • Collaborate closely with site teams, accounts, and senior management

What You Will Bring

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Degree in Construction Management or similar field
  • Experience with accounting software and construction management tools such as Procore
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and compliance
  • Previous experience in a similar role on in a commercial construction environment – preferred
