Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Hand to assist with the day-to-day operations of our farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops, caring for livestock, and operating farm machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops according to seasonal schedules
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, including tractors, plows, and harvesters
- Care for livestock, including feeding, watering, and cleaning animal pens
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of farm buildings and equipment
- Perform general farm duties, such as cleaning, fencing, and irrigation
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working on the farm
- Maintain accurate records of crop yields, livestock inventory, and other farm-related data
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working on a farm or in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of crop and livestock care techniques
- Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
