Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Forklift Operator will also be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the forklift.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper labeling, counting, and recording of merchandise
- Inspect and maintain the forklift to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
