Our next project in Western Australia, is an underground gold mining operation with an initial 8-year mine life.

About the Role:

The Loader Operator is responsible for maximising the productivity of bogging operations and equipment and supporting the Shift Supervisor in coordinating the activities around the bogging, backfilling, and loading operations.

About You:

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience:

• Experience operating Caterpillar R2900 and R1300 Loaders
• Experience operating RCT Tele-Remotes (desirable)
• Previous experience with high-speed development bogging
• Experience bogging, backfilling, and loading, and ensuring all tasks are carried out to the appropriate mining plan, operating standing and specifications
• Sound experience coordinating trucking fleets
• Proven experience working to optimise productivity and quality work
• Skilled in liaising with Maintenance to report mechanical issues to achieve required plant availability
• Proficient in training others in all aspects of the Loader Operator role
• Uphold high safety standards and a commitment to our Zero Harm culture

You will hold the following qualifications and licences:

• Current Australian C-Class Driver’s Licence
• Valid WA Security Clearance (desirable)
• Nationally recognised Shotfirer’s Licence (desirable)
