Reid Stockfeeds – a proud, family-owned Aussie business – is on the hunt for a dedicated team player to join our newly acquired Colbinabbin crew. We’re part of the food chain that keeps Victoria, South Australia, and New South Wales farming strong – and we need YOU to help keep the wheels (and the feed!) turning.
Whether you’re just starting your journey into the world of animal nutrition or you’ve got a miller’s mindset and machinery in your veins – we’ve got a spot for you.
Trainee Miller
No experience? No worries! If you’ve got a great attitude, can count bags, follow a recipe, and want to learn the ropes of stockfeed milling – you could be our next recruit.
Although, not every day would be the same, your day-to-day could look like
• Learn the ins and outs of feed production (with a mentor by your side!)
• Operate machinery, stack bags, help load trucks
• Keep the mill squeaky clean and safe – hygiene and safety are BIG here
• Develop your knowledge on workflow, grain handling, and feed batching
• Become a certified FeedSafe and Genius platform pro
• Show us your team spirit and commitment, and we’ll help you grow
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Eager to learn, ready to grow
• A team player with good literacy and numeracy
• Forklift licence = bonus (or willing to get one!)
• Keen to stick around and build a career
• Can do and reliable
Success looks like:
• Mastering Level 1 competencies
• No major safety hiccups
• Strong work ethic, reliable and a great fit for the team
