This isn’t just another operations role. As our National Operations Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our service delivery across Australia—leading teams, strengthening client partnerships, and representing us on the national stage.

You’ll oversee day-to-day operations while keeping one eye firmly on the horizon: pursuing new business, building industry relationships, and ensuring we continue to set the standard for excellence in ship agency services.

Based in our Bibra Lake office, this role offers the perfect blend of strategic leadership, client engagement, and operational impact—with opportunities to travel nationally and internationally.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Inspire

• Build and develop a high-performing operations team

• Drive consistency, efficiency, and a culture of excellence

• Manage resources, rostering, and workforce planning with a proactive mindset

Own Client Success

• Be the trusted face of Ship Agency Services—meeting with clients, solving challenges, and delivering results

• Represent us at industry events and stakeholder meetings

• Turn strong relationships into long-term partnerships

Drive Performance & Growth

• Monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and deliver on operational targets

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and expand our service offering

• Contribute to business development by pursuing new clients and strategic opportunities

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• 2+ years in a management role within shipping & 5+ years’ experience in the shipping industry

• Proven track record managing budgets, KPIs, and operational planning

• Strong client engagement and stakeholder management experience

• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams in a service-driven environment

Desirable

• Tertiary qualification in shipping, logistics, business, or management

• Background in ship agency operations

• Business development or sales exposure
