About The Role:

Land Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems Branch (LC4S Branch) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Finance & Cost Officer to operate within the Command, Control, Communications and Computer Project Office (C4PO) as an embedded part of the Program Management Office (PgMO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with limited guidance, being outcome orientated and accountable for the achievement of outcomes of work. 
  • Excellent communication skills, initiative and judgement will be required to provide detailed planning and scheduling. 
  • Provide technical, professional and policy advice in relation to complex work schedules and contribute to strategic planning, program and project management.
  • Extensive stakeholder engagement skills are essential to excel in this role. 
  • Responsible for driving the development of individual schedules that feed into the broader program Integrated Master Schedule. 
  • The ability to proactively identify, anticipate, and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations to achieve program objectives.

About You:

  • More than 5 years experience scheduling in the Defence environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders and functional teams to gather inputs and maintain schedule integrity.
  • Experience in developing, maintaining, and managing an Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex programs.
  • Proficient operation of Open Plan Professional (OPP) Software not less than Version 8 with a comprehensive understanding of scheduling practices on complex Defence Projects.
  • A current security clearance (minimum NV1).
  • A comprehensive understanding of the One Defence Capability System (formerly the Capability Life Cycle).
    Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience delivering Acquisition and First and Second Pass Government schedules.
  • Experience working in a Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) environment.
