Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing structures to ensure they are safe, stable, and meet all relevant codes and standards. The Structural Engineer will work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze structures, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects
- Develop detailed plans and specifications for construction projects
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify designs
- Perform calculations and simulations to test the strength and stability of structures
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate design concepts and findings to clients and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering
- Strong knowledge of building codes and standards
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
