Warehouse Storeperson

Beefy’s Pies are on the lookout for a reliable and enthusiastic Storeperson with Forklift Licence to join our friendly team at our Kunda Park production facility. If you’re passionate about great food, teamwork, and variety in your workday, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

This newly created full time Storeperson role is primarily factory-based however candidates with an MR licence are encouraged to apply and will be involved in a small amount of truck driving duties – please note this is not a mandatory requirement to apply for the role.

This is a hands on, newly created role to support our fast-paced and growing distribution and pick/packing department. Hours of work are Monday to Friday between 5am and 2pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift to load & unload incoming / outgoing goods
• Assist Truck Drivers to load trucks efficiently and safely
• Ensure correct rotation of stock in coldrooms and drystore
• Maintain the warehouse clean & tidy
• Ensure accuracy of orders and order deadlines are met
• Working in chiller environment
• Assisting with picking & packing when required
• Maintain compliance with Food Safety & HACCP standards
• Follow WHS policies and procedures
• Contribute to continual improvement of processes
• MR licence holders: Truck driving duties one day per week & occasionally more to cover leave

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Current Forklift Licence
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
• Reliable, punctual, and honest
• Previous experience in warehousing or logistics
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team spirit with ability to show initiative
• Ability to create strong working relationships wit a can-do attitude
• Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening
• Australian Permanent Residency
• Current MR Licence with relevant driving experience an advantage but not essential
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or processing an advantage
