About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Stores Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our site stores function. Reporting to site leadership, you’ll be responsible for supervising the stores team, maintaining accurate stock control, managing dispatch and receivables, and ensuring system integrity across SAP and CHEP pallet control.

This role is primarily focused on leadership, coordination, and system management, with hands-on operational support (including forklift work) required during peak periods or when supporting the team on the floor. You’ll play a key role in achieving operational KPIs, DIFOT targets, and maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and supervise the stores team to achieve operational KPIs and 100% DIFOT
  • Oversee dispatch of customer orders, ensuring accuracy, timing, and quality
  • Allocate daily work priorities and monitor workflow within the stores area
  • Liaise with transport coordination teams to resolve delivery and pick-up issues
  • Oversee and reconcile stock movements, including held stock management
  • Ensure FIFO compliance for perishable goods and escalate risks as required
  • Conduct and manage stocktakes in line with scheduled requirements
  • Manage CHEP pallet docket control and reconciliation
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and supplier delivery issues
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in SAP
  • Process delivery dockets, invoices, and related documentation
  • Receive and distribute goods for other departments in a timely manner
  • Maintain clean, organised cool rooms, warehouses, and stock areas
  • Review and update SOPs to reflect current and future processes
  • Provide operational support, including forklift driving, when required
  • Health, Safety & Environment

As a supervisor, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with Pace Farm HSE policies and procedures
  • Promote a strong safety culture and encourage early incident reporting
  • Consult with team members on HSE matters and safe work practices
  • Support return-to-work processes and injury management initiatives
  • Ensure PPE availability, correct use, and adherence to safe work procedures
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating safe and compliant behaviours at all times

About You

You’re a confident and organised leader with strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach when needed. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in running a tight, accurate operation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous supervisory experience in warehouse or stores operations
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory control, and stock management
  • Experience with SAP transactions and reporting
  • Experience managing CHEP pallet docket control and reconciliation
  • Sound knowledge of basic accounting and invoice reconciliation
  • Current forklift licence with the ability to operate when required
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
