Window and Door Service Technician and TAs Wanted!

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician/Glaziers/Window Installers to join our team. As a key member of our installation and service crew, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing uPVC windows and doors. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality workmanship will contribute to our customers’ satisfaction and the success of our business.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation, Glazing and Repair:

• Glazing
• Install, repair, and service uPVC windows and doors
• General carpentry (architraves, packing, skirting etc)
• General Labouring as required

2. Customer Service:

• Serve customers with dedication to client satisifaction
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve any issues promptly; problem solving with a solution mindset

3. Quality Control:

• Ensure the quality of installations and repairs meets industry standards.
• Pay attention to detail during installation and repair processes.

4. Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.
• Comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Site Prep and Clean Up
• Adherence to systems and procedures

5. Professionalism and Communication:

• Maintain a professional demeanour when interacting with clients.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers
• Positive communication is a MUST

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in uPVC window and door installation and/or home renovations/carpentry work is preferred

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools for installation and repair work.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow precise instructions and ensure accurate installations.

• Problem-Solving: Capable of troubleshooting issues and resolving problems efficiently.

• Customer-Focused: Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.

• Physical Stamina: The role involves physical labour, manual handling, including lifting and manoeuvring windows, doors, glass etc on site.

• Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is a MUST.
